International Business Development Executive (Italian Speaking)

About This Role:

We are on the search for an International Business Development Executive with fluent Italian. This unique opportunity is for a confident and tenacious business development executive who enjoys a challenge and wants to join a highly innovative and welcoming team.

Joining the organisation at a key stage of development, this product is much sought after and whilst new to the marketplace, it’s already attracting huge industry attention along with multiple recognition awards for innovation.

Your role within the team will be client facing and will involve travel within Europe (up to 20%). This will be largely focused in the Italian-speaking markets, so fluent (ideally native) Italian is a must-have.

Responsible for expanding and developing your account base, the successful candidate will be looking to drive the sales cycle up to final negotiation and commercial closing of new deals. 

While the Kastus product offer is an innovative science-based technology, the commercial role will not require previous experience within the scientific field to be successful. Cross-team technical and industrial support is on and technical training will be provided as required.

Job Goals/expectations:

  • Responsible for expanding and developing key industry networks and contacts within your territory

  • Drive Sales Cycle through to final negotiation and closing deals

  • Continually working to improve and optimise the sales cycle in collaboration with line managers

  • You will be working in a dynamic sales team, selling the company’s own developed and patented product into a B2B market of primarily manufacturing environments.

  • You’ll be travelling internationally, to create strong bonds with new and current client relationships.

  • This is a target driven role, with expectations around new business development and closing agreements. You can expect sales cycles of approx. 6 months.

  • You must be able to manage high levels of client interaction and ensure seamlessly consistent communications with your territory’s client and lead portfolio.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • 3/4 Years’ experience minimum in the international sales environment

  • Attention to detail & follow Through

  • The candidate will have a successful track record of developing and closing new business from first contact to commercial agreement.

  • You’ll need to be comfortable prospecting new business, analysing market-driven opportunities and working cross-functionally to successfully manage the new business development cycle.

  • Communicate effectively internally and externally (verbal & written)

  • Comfortable in Business English along with exceptional verbal communication, social awareness and ease in international environments.

  • You will be comfortable curating and presenting to senior management

  • Have curated experience in the international business environment

  • Operating sales force and other CMS systems including LinkedIn in order to communicate with international leads. This is a digitally enabled company which requires you having a good understanding of CMS and various packages such as Office in order to fulfil your duty.

About You:

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently. Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar sales role. This would suit somebody at an early part of their sales career, who demonstrates strong business acumen, tenacious business development skills and who can manage long sales cycles.
